Terms and Conditions – Media, Photography and Data Consent By registering for and participating in the Ndakaini Mazingira Half Marathon, or any event organized by Mazingira Sustainability Village (MSV), you acknowledge and agree to the following: 1. Photography and Media Consent You grant Mazingira Sustainability Village (MSV), its partners, sponsors, media partners, and authorized representatives permission to photograph, film, livestream, record, and otherwise capture your participation during the event. These photographs, videos, recordings, and other media may be used without further notice or compensation for: Event promotion and marketing; Print and digital publications; Social media platforms; Television and radio broadcasts; Documentary and promotional productions; Corporate presentations and reports; Future event advertising and publicity. 2. Personal Data Consent By submitting your registration, you consent to Mazingira Sustainability Village collecting, storing, and processing the personal information you provide, including your name, age, gender, organization, telephone number, email address, and emergency contact details, for purposes including: Event registration and administration; Participant communication; Race timing and results; Safety and emergency management; Issuing event updates and certificates; Post-event communication and feedback; Informing you about future MSV programs, events, campaigns, and sustainability initiatives. 3. Communication Consent You agree that Mazingira Sustainability Village may communicate with you through: Email; SMS; Telephone calls; WhatsApp or similar messaging platforms (where applicable); Other electronic communication channels related to the event and future MSV activities. 4. Promotional Use of Event Media You acknowledge that photographs and videos captured during the event may include your image and may be used in promotional materials without further approval or compensation. 5. Sponsorship and Partner Communications Where relevant to the event, Mazingira Sustainability Village may facilitate event-related communications on behalf of official sponsors and strategic partners. Such communications will relate to the event, participant benefits, sustainability initiatives, or associated activities. Personal information will not be sold or disclosed beyond what is necessary for these legitimate event purposes and applicable legal requirements. 6. Consent Upon Registration By completing and submitting your registration, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions. Your registration constitutes your consent to the collection and use of your personal information and event media as described above.
