Ndakaini Mazingira Run - Edition 001

Dear Participant, We begin by sincerely thanking you for registering to take part in our inaugural Ndakaini Mazingira Cross Country – Edition 0.1. Your participation is invaluable in making this first edition a success and in advancing our shared goals of sports, wellness, and environmental sustainability. Kindly take note of the following event details: Race Categories 10KM – The Ndakaini Ultimate Challenge: Open race on tough and thrilling terrain. 8KM / 6KM – Junior Men & Women (Zoomers Race): For young athletes ready to shine to nurture community talent. 2KM – Legends Race: Specially designed for our gukas and cucus (senior community members). Other Activities We shall have the following as our activities of the day Races Seedballing Clean up Walk Photo Op Medal Awards Partner/Sponsor commemorative tree planting Word from our chief guest. Registration Onsite registration will be open from 6:00 AM – 7:00 AM. Reporting time for pre-registered participants is 7:25 AM, Saturday 6th September 2025. Race Kits Each registered participant will receive: A race medal (crafted by Futbolmas – Mathare using recycled plastic, supporting children’s education and upkeep). Bib number. Online participation certificate. Seedballs (to plant for sustainability). Drinking water (please carry your refillable water bottle to reduce plastic waste). Race Start Time All races will begin promptly at 8:00 AM. Parking & Security Parking will be available at Ndakaini Primary School. Vehicle owners are kindly requested to ensure cars are locked safely. (Please note: there will be no CCTV support.) Transport For participants who purchased a mobility ticket: Pick-up point: KENCOM, Nairobi. Reporting time: before 5:30 AM. Bus departs exactly at 6:00 AM and is scheduled to arrive in Ndakaini by 7:15 AM.
