Falutin Films is a film club which screens movie recommendations from within the community! Just prior to the film, a speaker presents on the movie, highlighting key themes and deeper perspective. Screening of the film is then followed by discussion led by the speaker.

This week’s film: we'll be showing two emotionally charged stories that explore the complexities of human struggles & relationships. Modern Love (Season 1, Episode 3: "Take Me as I Am, Whoever I Am") and Accused (Season 2, Episode 2: "April’s Story") reveal how personal battles and moments of vulnerability shape decisions & connections, offering a powerful look at resilience, grace & what it means to truly see one another.

Our speaker will lead a thoughtful exploration of the experiences that shape our lives, focusing on the unseen challenges we face, the weight of judgment & preconceptions, and the transformative power of empathy & grace. She’ll discuss how these stories reflect the multifaceted nature of human experiences & encourage us to approach each other’s stories with greater understanding & compassion.
